In a complex society

The legal framework of Dutch society is becoming more complex, including for situations involving the government. Issues involving administrative law, criminal law, administrative criminal law and government liability law arise regularly in today’s world. Our clients are increasingly faced with cases in which all four of these areas of law sometimes simultaneously play a role. We have an independent administrative law practice and an independent criminal law practice, but we combine our expertise in these areas in cases touching on both.

We act on behalf of governmental bodies (for example, as in-house counsel for municipalities). We also represent quasi-governmental bodies in various sectors. Moreover, our clients include institutions, companies and individuals.

Actionable advice

We work together with other law firms and with insurers. Our lawyers are also sometimes seconded to work directly with our clients. By combining our specialties, we are able to provide comprehensive advice and effective legal assistance. Each client always has a single point of contact. This is how we maintain a close relationship with our clients.

We are members of the various Dutch professional associations relevant to our areas of law. In addition, we are an associate member of Deltalinqs, an organisation advocating on behalf of over 700 logistics, port and industrial companies in the Rotterdam main port. We are also a member of the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers (VNO-NCW), the largest business organisation in the Netherlands.
